Bountiful WiFi Launches Its Line of Wireless Products with One-of-a-Kind Wireless Internet Router
The Bountiful Router provides a wireless coverage area two to four times larger than any other wireless solution available.
WOODS CROSS, UT, July 25, 2005—Bountiful WiFi announced today that it is officially launching its line of wireless LAN (Local Area Network) solutions with the release of the Bountiful Router, a one-of-a-kind wireless Internet router.
“We are thrilled to introduce the Bountiful Router, which we believe will set Bountiful WiFi apart from and ahead of other providers of wireless LAN equipment,” said David Egbert, CEO of Bountiful WiFi. “The company is committed to offering unmatched wireless technology and the Bountiful Router will be the first product to confirm this commitment.”
The Bountiful Router was developed in response to businesses’ demand for a constant, abundant and reliable wireless signal. It offers the unprecedented differentiation in a wireless network by expanding the footprint or coverage area by two to four times those of other solutions in the industry. Furthermore, it does this without using any additional extenders, repeaters, boosters or amplifiers. As the most powerful wireless Internet router allowed under FCC regulations, the Bountiful Router effectively overcomes the biggest challenge facing the wireless industry, namely making the effective coverage area equal the desired coverage area.
In addition to providing increased coverage, the Bountiful Router reduces contention in the network, lessens packet loss and has huge “ears” that allow it to easily hear the clients. The router extends existing networks at a fraction of wired network costs, providing an economical, FCC Certified solution to businesses of all sizes.
“Businesses that implement the Bountiful Router will quickly realize that it offers superior performance and a host of advantages in a wireless network,” said Egbert. “We’re excited for companies to start reaping the benefits of this powerful technology.”
The Bountiful Router’s features include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Simultaneously supports 802.11b+g
• Rich advanced WLAN security options
• Broadband gateway functions
• Rich network security mechanisms
• Transparent bridging function between WLAN and LAN interfaces
• Management interface with easy setup wizard
• Firmware upgrade for enhanced new features
