BMWRG1000/BMWRG500 Firmware build 414 Release Notes ******************************************************************************** Build 414 is released under the file name of: bwifi-414.bin on June 10, 2008 Build 414 Fixed some problems where the SSID would be showing but clients were unable to connect. Build 413 Fixed a problem where if link is established and then all links are down on the LAN ports the WAN port will no longer send traffic. Fixed several reboot issues in the NAT code. Enabled IPSTEALTH mode. Build 412 Changes to improve stability. Fixed a problem where the memory free list would be corrupted due to double frees. This was the cause of several different reboots. Fixed an issue where the router would reboot when using WPA or WPA2 security. Fixed a small memory leak in the DHCP Server code. Improved performance by reusing a bind entry if it is being renewed rather than freeing and allocating a new one. This will reduce memory fragmentation allowing the router to stay up longer. No longer restart the DHCP server when a lease is renewed on the WAN interface. Only restart if a DNS IP address changes. This will reduce the frequency of IP address conflicts on the LAN/WLAN. Changed the memory allocation algorithm to best fit to reduce memory fragmentation. Fixed an issue where upto 18 buffers were being lost when the DHCP server was checking if an IP address was in use. Fixed a problem where memory was being allocated during boot where it was not needed. Improved performance/responsiveness of web interface.
